EU T+1 Industry Committee: One year to T+1 and the final roadmap

As we approach the one-year milestone ahead of the European Union’s, Switzerland’s and the UK’s transition to a T+1 settlement cycle on 11 October 2027, we invite you to join us for a hybrid industry event to assess readiness and discuss the roadmap for the final year of preparation. Hosted by Citi on behalf of the EU T+1 Industry Committee, this event will take place on Thursday, 29 October 2026, from 14:30 to 17:30 CET, both in person at Citi’s Frankfurt office and virtually via Zoom.

The agenda will feature key regulatory updates and strategic discussions, including:

  • Keynote Addresses: Insights from Piero Cipollone (Executive Board Member, ECB), Birgit Puck (Chair of ESMA’s Market Standing Committee), and Martin Merlin (Director, DG FISMA).
  • Fireside Chat: A discussion on cross-border alignment with Giovanni Sabatini (Independent Chair, EU T+1 Industry Committee), Andrew Douglas (Chair, UK Accelerated Settlement Taskforce), and Florentin Soliva (Chair, Swiss Post-Trade Securities Council).
  • Technical Panel: An interactive session with industry experts addressing the latest updates on preparation and implementation activities across the three European jurisdictions.

For security reasons, registration in advance is mandatory for this event. Please fill out the form at the registration link below.

Further details, including the streaming link for online attendees, will be shared at a later stage.
