EU T+1 Industry Committee Implementation Survey
Survey open—complete by 9th June
Second EU T+1 Industry Committee survey (Q2 2026)
The EU T+1 Industry Committee, in partnership with The Value Exchange, has launched its second industry readiness survey and disclaimer. Building on the first survey completed in Q4 2025, this exercise evaluates the market’s awareness and progress in implementing the T+1 High-Level Roadmap recommendations—eleven months after its publication on 30 June 2025.
With only six months remaining to complete the actions necessary for T+1 readiness, and the 2027 Testing Year approaching, this survey comes at a critical stage in the transition.
Survey purpose
This survey goes beyond the first in both scope and purpose. It focuses on:
- Areas where a 2026 deliverable is expected
- New developments that have emerged since the previous survey
- Approaching operational deadlines
- Key dependencies affecting other market segments
For the EU T+1 Industry Committee, ESMA, and national competent authorities (NCAs), a detailed assessment of market readiness is essential to identify risks, gaps, and dependencies early enough to take corrective action where needed.
Who should participate
- Asset managers
- Banks
- Financial market infrastructures
- Brokers
- Institutional investors
- Custodians
Data transparency
Aggregate results will be anonymised and made publicly available. No individual firms will be identified.
This survey is conducted by The Value Exchange on behalf of the EU T+1 Industry Committee. Once the survey closes, the industry will have a limited window to assess the results and implement any necessary remediation actions. We encourage all market participants to dedicate time to completing it.
